mCerulean, a cyan fluorescent protein from the jellyfish Aequorea victoria, has a molecular weight of 26.8 kDa, with an excitation wavelength of 433 nm and an emission wavelength of 477 nm. Derived from green fluorescent protein (GFP) via A206K mutation, it is widely used in several key areas:

- Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET): mCerulean often acts as a donor paired with acceptor proteins like mVenus to study protein interactions and dynamics.

- Cellular Labeling: It can label specific proteins or organelles for fluorescence microscopy to track their cellular distribution.

Before use this product, please read the direction below carefully. This vial must be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. Reconstitute in a sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20℃. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
