CXCL3, also known as GRO-γ (Growth-Regulated Oncogene Gamma), is a member of the CXC chemokine family encoded by the CXCL3 gene. It shares 86% amino acid sequence identity with CXCL1/GRO-α

. Like other GRO proteins (GRO-α, GRO-β, and GRO-γ), CXCL3 binds with high affinity to the IL-8 type B receptor (CXCR2) and acts as a potent chemoattractant and activator for neutrophils

. Secreted primarily by monocytes and macrophages, CXCL3 plays a critical role in inflammation by mediating monocyte migration and adhesion through CXCR2

. It also exerts autocrine effects on endothelial cells, influencing processes such as angiogenesis and immune response modulation.

Reconstitute in a sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20℃. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
