Recombinant Murine Keratinocyte Growth Factor-2/FGF10

Fibroblast growth factor 10, also known as Keratinocyte Growth Factor-2 belongs to the fibroblast growth factor (FGF) family which is involved in a variety of biological processes such as embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth and invasion. Like most other FGF family members, FGF-10 is a heparin-binding growth factor that belongs to the FGF family. Proteins of this family play a central role during prenatal development, postnatal growth and regeneration of a variety of tissues, by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF-10 is most related to KGF/FGF-7, and is expressed during the development and, preferentially, in adult lungs. It signals through FGFR 2b. Murine FGF-10 shares 94% and 100% a.a. sequence identity with human and rat FGF-10 respectively. Recombinant Murine FGF-10 is a 19.5kDa protein consisting of 173 amino acid.

Reconstitute in a sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Stock solutions should be apportioned into working aliquots and stored at ≤ -20℃. Further dilutions should be made in appropriate buffered solutions.
